THE BAILEY'S

It all started with Jourdains Grandma C. Bugging my mom!!!
So one day in February i am on the phone with my mom while she is at work and she says " Cassidy i have this lady here that really really wants to set you up with her grandson. She has asked me several time if i can give her your number so that he can call you." Then i said " Mom i dont care!! If she want it that bad then give it to her, that way she will leave you alone about it. " Little did i know that that was not going to be the case!!! So my mom gave her the number and Grandma C. gave the number to her grandson. Weeks went by and he never called or text he didnt do anything and i had completely forgotten that i gave my number out. Then one day i get a call from my mom saying that she has a funny story to tell me she proceeds with " so i take it you havent heard from this kid right? U would have told me right?" i said " no i havent heard from him and if i ever do you will be the first to know about it" Mom says " well his grandma gave me his number to give to you so you can call him. She say that she has asked him several times and he keeps saying that he will and she for some reason thinks that you guys need to date, so i will give you his number and you do with it what you want and i will let grandma c know that i gave it to you and that there is nothing more that we can do." I laught and said ok whatever!!!
Well then one nght about 10:30pm i was laying in my bed in my Quite appartment playing on the new phone that i had just gotten and looked over on my floor and saw this sticky note with the name Jourdain on it and a phone number and i thought in my head that i will just text this kids so that i can tell my mom that i had tried and it just didnt workout also thinking that it is ten thirty at night and he wont text me back.
So i text him saying " Hi my name is Cassidy and your grandma works with my mom and she gave you my number and then gave me yours but i got a new phone with a new number so here it is and if you ever wanna go out some time text me or give me a call" and that was it!!!
Well to my suprise and twenty minutes later i get a text back, he works nghts so he was up ( dang it i thought ) so we text back and forth for about an hour then he asked me out for that coming sat. I said sure and then the conversation ended and i went to bed. Well ofcourse i called my mom that next day and told her that i had talked to him and that i had a date for sat and i would call her afterwords to let her know how it went. I also asked her if she could tell me what he looked like tall, short, fat , skinny!! LOL she had no clue ( she sets me up on a date and doesnt even know what this kid looks like, thats just crazy) so i had to just wait and see!!
Well sat comes and my roommates not home so i am nervous cause i have no clue what this kid looks like or if its just going to be me and him or are we doubling no clue.
The door bell rings ( here comes the crazy girl inside me) I pase back and forth like five times then i look threw the pep hole in the door and oh my gosh this kid is HOT!!! He is one of those preppy kids that are not attracted to me!! Oh no!!
Finally i open the door ask him to come in go get my shoes on that i left in my bed room cause i wasnt sure if i could wear hills or not ( which i couldnt :-( ) and off we went.
We get to his car which was one of my Fav. cars growing up i always wanted a eclispe and he had one so i am yet again freaking out in my head cause he almost has the perfect car!! And know we are heading to dinner he wanted to take me to the road house ( which if you know me at all that my fav place ever) but sadly the wait was two hours and he had plans for a movie that started in about an hour so went over to Cafe Rio and dinner then went to the Movie. Then he took me home.
I walked in my apartment door and hurried and called my mom. " Mom he is such i cute kid we had a good time there wasnt to bad of akwardness but we are totally different people, he doesnt like camping and water and all the outdoors stuff that i like. he is into golf and politics. I just dont think that he will ask me out again but it was really fun and i am way glad that we went out" oh and ofcourse i told her about the car and pacing back and forth.
Then about two hours later my roommate gets home and cme storming in my room wanting to know how it went to ofcourse i told her.
That next day i get up go to church and i am sitting in my front room of my apartment and i get this text from this kid asking if i had a good time and if i would like to go out agian some time?!!! Well after much screaming and freaking out i text him back saying ya sure i would love to go out again. Then he says ok what about Tuesday!! Tuesday wow thats quick tuesday well i dint have any plans so that tuesday we went out during the day and went to an asian resturaunt for lunch then went bowling. It was tonz of fun and i was falling FAST for this kid!! Then he takes me home and says that he will talk to me later!!
Every night after that we would text for hours on end while we were both working. We went out the next several sat and then he started coming over during the week. Then next thing i know late one night while we were watching The Bee movie he kissed me!! I was so shocked but it was great short and sweet!!
My roommate and her boyfriend all this time were talking about getting married they had been dating for about two years by this point and she wanted to get married and he just wasnt asking her, So unfortuntily for Jourdain there was alot of wedding talk when he came over and he could see that it was iching in my head. So one day he just said that he wasnt ready for marriage that he wanted to date a person for awhile before he wanted to make that big decession. Well i wasnt haven it i knew that he was it and i had to make him know that too!! So i kept bringing it up and then one day we started talking about it i dont even remember when and about what i just know that we all the sudden were talking about it. And that he was moving in with his Grandma C so that he could be closer to me!!! I was so so excited!!
Well one April day i decided that i wanted to go look at wedding dresses ( i know he hasnt asked me yet but hey what could it hurt). Well that day i found my DREAM dress!! I hurried and called my mom and told her and told her she had to come and look at it. But she wouldnt she said she wsnt going to go look at it tell i had a ring on my finger!! So instead i took my best friend megan!!
Well my parents were going to Yellowstone and they made him promise that he wouldnt Purpose to me while they were gone!! My mom didnt want a phone call and i picture from a phone to say that her only daughter was getting married!! And well he didnt purpose to me while they were got he joked about it several times and would get down on his knee and then would tie his shoe or sit down!! Not very nice i know!!
Well my parents got home on a wednesday nght and that thursday me and Jourdain were going to Breakfast like we did several times after he get off work in the morning we would go to breakfast then he would go home and sleep and then on that day he said we were going to watch his Sister Makell dance.
Well thursday came and i woke up early put on some makeup but left my PJs on cause i planned on going back to bed after he dropped me off. He knocked at the door and i hurried and put my brown yellowstone huddy on cause it was raining and i didnt wanna look for a huddy that matched my pjs cause i was starving and off we went. As we were driving Jourdain gets on the freeway and i was thinking what the heck theres like a millon places right by my apartment were are we going i am starving i want something now!!! ( i am not plesent in the morning and when i am hungry that makes it even worse!! ) SO i ask him were we are going and he say that he just wanted to go some place different today. About five minutes late Jourdain roles down the window and says he doesnt feel good and he thinks he is going to be sick!! Well the BRAT that i am i tell him to roll uo the window it is freezing and raining out there and he can just take me to McDonalds!! ( I know i cant believe i was that big of a brat either).
Well finally we get to were he wanted to take me to breakfast, which was the little america ( i was excited to eat there once we got there). So we sat down in one of the far back corners and order our food. When we get our food jourdains hardly eating anything and i am almost done which was weird cause thats when he usually eats the most is breakfast time so i asked him if he was ok and he said that he was just really nervous!! ( Me still not getting it) He finally gets down on his knee and i said what are you doing!! and he pulls out the ring and asked me to Marry him i was so shocked i was trying not to cry and said yes!! Then he gets up and says he feels better know and eats all his breakfast were as i cant eat anything now!! After we ate we went right to my parents house to show my mom cause she had to be the first to know!!! she cried ofcourse and we talked to her for a minute then left. Jourdain took me home gave me a kiss then went home and said he would call me when he got up. I hurried in the apartment and straight to my room shut the door and exsamined my ring!! I LOVED it!! After about a hour of that i text everyone i knew that i was engaged!! And then went to bed so so happy it took me along time to fall asleep! I CANT BELIEVE IT ITS REALLY HAPPENING!!
Well thats how it all Happened we met March 1st 2008 two months later on May 22nd Jourdain asked me to MARRY him!! and then 3 and 1/2 months later on sept 18th 2009 we were MARRIED!!
Now know as MR. and MRS. BAILEY FOREVER!!!!
